Privacy Policy
Effective 6 October 2026
Twincue Teleprompter ("the app") is made by Vladimir Khuraskin, an independent developer. This policy explains what the app does with your data. Contact: support@twincue.app
What stays on your iPhone
- The camera picture and the sound from the microphone while you record.
- Your videos. The app keeps a take in a temporary file and deletes it when you leave the review screen.
Your scripts and iCloud
The app stores your scripts on your iPhone. If you are signed in to iCloud, it also keeps them in your private iCloud storage, so they appear on your other devices with the same Apple Account. Apple runs that storage, and I have no access to it. Turn this off in Settings > your name > iCloud, under the apps that use iCloud.
The app has no account and no server of its own. I never receive your scripts, your videos or your audio.
A video leaves the app in two cases: you tap Save to Photos, or you tap Share and pick where to send it.
What the app collects
Usage data. The app sends events to Amplitude, an analytics service: a script was created, a recording started or finished, a video was saved or shared, the paywall opened, a purchase went through. Each event carries the identifier that Apple gives your device for apps from one developer, the app version, the iPhone model, the iOS version, the language, the mobile carrier and the country, region and city that Amplitude derives from your IP address. Events hold no script text and no part of a video.
Purchase data. The app uses RevenueCat to unlock Pro and to restore purchases. RevenueCat receives a random identifier for your installation and your purchase history in this app. Apple processes the payment. I never see your card or your Apple Account.
What the app does not do
- It shows no ads.
- It does not track you across other apps or websites.
- It does not use the advertising identifier.
- It does not sell data.
Permissions
- Camera and microphone: to record your video and its sound.
- Photos (add only): to save a video when you tap Save to Photos. The app cannot read your library.
You can turn each permission off in Settings.
Service providers
- Amplitude, Inc.: https://amplitude.com/privacy
- RevenueCat, Inc.: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
They process the data listed above on my behalf.
How long data is kept
Unsaved takes live on your iPhone and disappear when you delete the app. Scripts stay in your iCloud until you delete them in the app or remove the app's data in Settings > your name > iCloud > Manage Account Storage. Amplitude and RevenueCat keep usage and purchase data until I delete it or their retention periods end.
Your choices
The data carries no name and no email address. To ask for a copy of it or for its deletion, write to me at support@twincue.app and I will help you find the identifier of your installation.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new effective date.
